Eric Taillet's 'Bansionensi' Extra Brut Champagne comes from very old vineyards in Baslieux-Sous-Châtillon, a Pinot Meunier principality. The winery champions this often mistreated red grape variety, and produces excellent versions like this one. Fresh and intense aromas of exotic fruit and citrus fruits are perceived on the nose, while on the palate it is smooth and elegant, with a marked freshness. To be uncorked with king prawns or lobster
Straw yellow with numerous bubbles
Intense hints of exotic fruits such as mango, then peach and citrus fruits such as orange and lemon
Very smooth and amiable, fresh and broad, very elegant
