Jerome Blin's Extra Brut Champagne 'La Pouillote' adds a small percentage of Chardonnay, common in the Vincelles area, to the iconic Meunier. The Blin family has been producing wine for almost three centuries and demonstrates how rooted they are in the land by working with great environmental sensitivity. Culture and nature translate into wines with personality, produced with indigenous yeasts, like this sparkling wine from a single plot. The nose is very fresh, with intense hints of white fruit, baked apple and slight hints of yeast. On the palate it stands out for its freshness and savouriness, the creamy mouthfeel concluding in persistent saline sensations. Ideal with seafood crudités or soft cheeses such as brie
Straw yellow with golden reflections and fine perlage
Notes of ripe white fruit such as quince and cooked pear, bread crust and hazelnut
Fresh, mineral and creamy, balanced and with an energetic sip
