CHAMPAGNE BRUT BLANC DE BLANCS GRAND CRU 'MONCUIT-DELOS' PIERRE MONCUIT DESCRIPTION

Located in Mesnil sur Oger, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, the Champagne house Pierre Moncuit, has based its reputation on a continuous search for quality. Since 1977, Nicole Moncuit a passion for oenology and viticulture, has taken over the technical direction of the House, her expertise enables her to develop typical flavors characteristic of each harvest. Yves Moncuit, his brother, follows the marketing in France and abroad, while his daughter Nicole Valérie joined in the family business. Nicole Moncuit bases her work in the pursuit of perfection, day after day, year after year, in accordance with the know-how inculcated by his father Pierre Moncuit, Nicole plays with care, rigor and patience, each step in the production of their Champagne. She transmits today all her passion to her daughter Valerie. It is this passion which you will find in each bottle of the range Pierre Moncuit, like a signature, almost a print. The new and modern winery, allows careful work from picking to bottling. Every bottle is the result of a unique vintage, very representative of the Terroir. Each Vintage asserts his character and shows his own specificities. Of the 20 acres owned by the family, 15 are Grand Cru. From these prestigious vineyards comes the Chardonnay "Moncuit-Delos" which is characterized by its lightness and liveliness. The couvée is assembled in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and then left to mature on the lees for a minimum of 48 months. Yellow color, citrus aromas (grapefruit and lemon), its typical minerality is coming from the cru "Mesnil"; it’s definitely a great Champagne Blanc de Blancs.
