The Etna Rosato Sciàre dell'Alba is a fresh and fragrant rosé wine produced on Etna, made from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, two very common indigenous varieties in the area. On the nose, notes of berries, rose, and violet stand out, accompanied by slight citrus nuances that lead to the freshness of the sip, clean and balanced, supported by a pleasant minerality. A wine to try with fish dishes or to drink as an aperitif.

The Etna Rosato Sciàre dell'Alba is a refined and fragrant label that highlights the vocation of the Etna territory for the production of great rosés. The characteristics of the local indigenous grape varieties, low in anthocyanins and with delicate and elegant aromas, combined with a cool climate characterized by significant temperature excursions between day and night, are perfect for obtaining wines of great expressive finesse, clear and mineral. It is a rosé that captivates with floral scents, citrus aromas, and small red berry fruits, making it perfect to taste alongside first courses with shrimp and scampi or with a seafood stew in tomato.

The wine Etna Rosato Sciàre dell'Alba is the culmination of the search for elegance by a young reality of Mongibello. The winery was founded only in 2009, but can count on the experience of the Franciacorta producer Elisabetta Abrami, who, thanks to the collaboration with the Urzì family, has brought this new project to life. The property extends over a few hectares located in the Mascali area and is currently in conversion to organic farming. The cuvée is made from a blend predominantly of Nerello Mascalese grapes with a balance of Nerello Cappuccio sourced from vineyards located on the eastern slope of Etna at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. The manual harvest takes place in October, and the best bunches are pressed very gently with a brief contact with the skins. After decantation, the must is vinified in white in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine matures in steel tanks on fine lees for three months and for a year in the bottle before being marketed.

The Etna Rosato Sciàre dell'Alba is an excellent version of this challenging type of wine, perfectly expressing the character of Etna. In the glass, it presents a bright light pink color with brilliant reflections. Fine and elegant, it is characterized by a bouquet reminiscent of the scents of orange blossom, dried rose petals, medicinal herbs, and aromas of ripe citrus, raspberry, pomegranate, wild strawberries, and currant. Delicate and harmonious, it has a pleasantly savory and fruity sip that extends towards a finish of lively freshness.
