Maturana 'Pequenita' Alonso & Pedrajo 2018

Maturana 'La Pequeñíta' from Alonso & Pedrajo is a fresh orange made from Maturana Blanca, an indigenous grape from the Rioja Alta region. This wine is traditionally vinified in 'tinajas' earthenware amphorae, in which it spends months on the skins before finishing ageing in barriques. It is a fine wine with an intense profile, with evolved hints of quince, jammy yellow fruit and pleasant earthy and honeyed hints on the finish. The palate is fresh, round and slightly tannic, ideal with intense fish dishes or mature cheeses
