Prosecco Extra Brut Superiore 'Grande Cuvée del Fondatore - Motus Vitae

“Grande Cuvée del Fondatore Motus Vitae” is a Prosecco Extra Brut Superiore tribute to the pioneering spirit of Giuliano, founder of the Bortolomiol winery in the late 1940s. Giuliano was one of the first winemakers to focus on the production of Metodo Martinotti, innovating and experimenting in a sector that, at the time, was yet to be discovered. This vintage label is created to enhance the characteristics of the vintage, with no added sugars, and presents a decidedly dry sip, with great impact. A bottle that is nothing short of pleasant, to be tasted without hesitation.

The Prosecco Extra Brut Superiore “Grande Cuvée del Fondatore – Motus Vitae” is made from pure Glera grapes, grown exclusively within the San Pietro in Barbozza vineyard. The grapes, carefully selected by the Bortolomiol winery team, once they arrive in the winemaking facilities are softly pressed, then fermented in steel and refermented following the production rules of Metodo Martinotti. The aging takes place in steel, where the wine spends 10 months in contact with the yeasts before being bottled.

The “Grande Cuvée del Fondatore – Motus Vitae” is a Prosecco Extra Brut Superiore that in the glass takes on a straw yellow color, crossed by a fine bubble, with good persistence. The range of aromas that develops on the nose recalls mainly fruity and floral notes, very elegant. On the palate, it is tasty and pleasant, with a clean, straightforward and lively sip, which relies on a nice freshness. A label that embodies the entire sparkling capacity of the Bortolomiol winery, to continue the experimentation path undertaken by Giuliano, always attracted by the pursuit of excellence and the creation of new products.
