The Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso wine signed by Bastianich is made from the eponymous grapes of the native Friulian variety. The vines of this variety are cultivated using the guyot system and grow within vineyards that have roots in a subsoil predominantly characterized by limestone marls. Once selected during the harvest phase, the grapes are vinified in stainless steel containers at a constant temperature. The aging takes place in steel for several months.
