WHITE WINE RIBOLLA GIALLA 'VINNAE' JERMANN 2021 DESCRIPTION

Vinnae is the wine par excellence that expresses the triple soul territorial of the winery Jermann, at the crossroads of Friuli, Austria and Slovenia, taking a cue from the three varieties most representative of this area where a border fades in the other, namely the Ribolla Gialla, Riesling Renano and Tocai. The history of the winery Jermann starts from a generational turnover at the turn of Central Europe: in 1881 the founder Anton Jermann left the Austrian wine region of Burgenland and then the vineyards in Slovenia to put down new roots in Friuli, in the heart of the Collio. Today 130 hectares of vineyards are the backdrop for a production that has brought the name of the winery Jermann to the top of the production of white wines in Italy. Among these, certainly deserves attention Vinnae, born in 1983 with grapes from the marly Collio, on soils with a characteristic bedrock traditionally defined "Ponca". The vineyards of Ribolla, Tocai and Riesling used to produce Vinnae enjoy different exhibitions ranging from South-East to North-West, in the vineyards of the estate of Villanova in Farra d'Isonzo. Borns to celebrate one hundred years of dedication to the vineyard of the Family Jermann, Vinnae wine is fresh and balanced, with a structure smoothed by skilful aging in oak casks, with a strong flavor and a dry finish extremely pleasurable.
