"Ora" Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore di San Patrignano is an intense and forthright wine that brings to the glass authentically and immediately the characteristics that Sangiovese expresses in the lands of Romagna. Less structured and austere than versions of the more renowned and famous Tuscan appellations, in the hilly Rimini area the grape variety highlights above all the harmonious and rich fruity notes, with a smooth and pleasantly balanced sip. Ageing in wood is well-calibrated and does not overshadow the fragrant varietal aromas, giving only more softness to the tannins, which are subtle and well-polished.

Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore "Ora" comes from a production reality that is much more than just a winery and can express important values that go far beyond the world of wine. It was born, in fact, on the estate of the Community of San Patrignano, which has made a social commitment a true social mission. It is the fruit of sacrifice and passion of boys who, thanks to the cultivation of vines and the production of wine, are creating for themselves a new path in life guided by oenologist Luca D'Attoma. The careful and delicate winemaking processes in the cellar guarantee wines of great fidelity to the grape variety's characteristics and give a Sangiovese of remarkable quality and extraordinary drinkability.

"Ora" from San Patrignano is a Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore from Coriano's gentle hillside area. After the harvest, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, it matures for a period of 12 months in oak barrels. In the goblet, it has a deep ruby red colour. On the nose, it releases intense aromas of cherry, currant, morello cherry, red berry fruits, hints of liquorice root, leather and delicate spicy nuances. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine, velvety tannic texture. It retains a juicy fruit fragrance stretching toward a fresh finish with good flavour persistence.
