SCHIAVA 'PARA SE' AGRICOLA MOS 2023 DESCRIPTION

Agricola Mos's 'Para Se' represents a bottle from Trentino that stands out for its fluent and thirst-quenching flavour. Indeed, the expression in the Trentino dialect 'para se' literally means 'takes away the thirst', an appellation chosen to emphasise the immediacy and accessibility of this rosé wine. The Agricola Mos estate was officially born with the 2018 harvest from the enthusiasm of the young cousins Luca and Federico, who, from less than a hectare of vineyards, make genuine and sincere wines produced with respect for the cycles and balances of nature. The two have picked up the small wine-growing heritage of their families, who for generations have dedicated themselves to viticulture in the Valle di Cembra, an area located northeast of Trento and characterised by vineyards supported by wide terraces.

Agricola Mos 'Para Se' is made exclusively from Schiava grapes from vines between 30 and 80 years old, rooted on shallow porphyry soils. The vines, trained using the traditional Trentino simple pergola system, are 600 metres above sea level and enjoy excellent south-westerly exposure. Harvesting is carried out by hand in big once during the second half of September, and the grapes are then vinified through two days of pellicular maceration, with alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. After a few months of maturation, also in stainless steel, the wine is finally bottled.

The rosé wine made from Schiava 'Para Se' grapes by the small winery Agricola Mos is light pink with brilliant highlights. The nose reveals hints of red fruits and dog roses, supported by delicate spicy nuances. The smooth, drinkable taste shows exceptional freshness.
