"Aralez" is a red wine with good tannins and excellent freshness from the Colchagua Valley, one of the most suitable areas in Chile. It is made from a blend of Bordeaux grape varieties: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec. It ages in old wooden barrels and expresses notes of sour cherry, plum, sweet spices, licorice, and tobacco, with a sip of sharp acidity and good tannic grip.

Aralez, from the Chilean winery Clos Santa Ana, is a deep, intense, and long-lived red, crafted with great passion and artisanal spirit. For the selection of grape varieties and the long aging in wood, it is a label inspired by Bordeaux models. It is the flagship wine of the estate, the maximum expression of a terroir with remarkable potential, still partly unexplored. The limited number of bottles makes it highly sought after among the most discerning enthusiasts, always on the lookout for particularly interesting novelties. It is a great red, suitable for important dishes based on game or fine cuts of red meat.

The red Aralez from Clos Santa Ana is the result of careful work from a small winery that manages a vineyard of just over one hectare. The estate is located in the central area of Chile, in the prestigious Colchagua Valley, historically suited for vine cultivation, which has thrived in these lands since the time of the first Conquistadores. The cuvée is composed of a blend of grapes from vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec cultivated with very high planting density, with the utmost respect for the environment, following the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. The soils are heterogeneous, with volcanic components, limestone, and alluvial deposits. The climate is mild and always well-ventilated, ideal for ripening Bordeaux varieties. The different grape varieties are vinified separately, with fermentations in wooden vats. The wine then matures for a period of 12 months in barrels of various sizes and is bottled with a minimal addition of sulfur.

The Aralez wine produced by Clos Santa Ana is an important red, highlighting the excellent ripeness of grapes of outstanding quality, vinified with extreme care and attention to the smallest details. It presents itself with a beautiful dark ruby red color with violet reflections. On the nose, it expresses a particularly rich, intense, and complex aromatic palette, with notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry, red plum, ripe cherry, spicy hints, bitter cocoa, leather, toasted nuances and noble woods. Wide and structured, it has important tannins that are well integrated with a remarkable density of aromas, harmonious and enveloping, which anticipate a very persistent finish.
