Torrevento's 'Baccarara' is a structured Apulian white, produced on the high hills of Bari. It is an elegant blend of local and international grapes, delicately vinified before a brief passage in barrique to give roundness. The nose is quite complex, with hints of citrus and white fruit crowned by herbaceous and balsamic sensations, with fine toasted hints on the finish. On the palate it reveals harmony, savouriness and great structure, making it ideal with baked fish but also with medium-aged cheeses
Straw yellow with intense golden hues
Aromas of golden apple, lemon peel fresh balsamic herbs such as mint and sage, finish with roasted sensations
Well-balanced, very savoury, structured and elegant on the palate
