Bianco Appassimento Pasqua 2024

The White "PassioneSentimento" from the Pasqua winery is an originalinterpretation of Garganega, which is achieved by briefly drying the grapes in a fruit cellar. The "Passione e Sentimento" selection consists of four wines that tell the love story between Romeo and Juliet and honour the bond between the Pasqua family and the city of Verona. The colourful illustration on the label is the work of photographer Giò Martorana, whose shot of Juliet's courtyard celebrates the feelings of love and passion and underlines the many messages that thousands of tourists exchange every year in this romantic place.

'PassioneSentimento' Pasqua White is a 100% Garganega whose grapes are carefully selected and harvested a little earlier. This is followed by brief drying on the drying floor in well-ventilated rooms to prevent mould and rot, a process that helps to concentrate the aromas and sugars of the grapes. The grapes are then pressed and macerated for 12 hours just before fermentation. The must obtained by gently pressing the grapes is then alcoholically fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then matured for several months in a combination of steel and French oak barrels.

The "PassioneSentimento" White by Pasqua has a straw-yellow colour with bright golden reflections. Its intense and complex bouquet exudes seductive aromas of citrus fruits, apricots and peaches, which are complemented by delicate woody notes resulting from ageing in French oak. The sip is well-structured and intense, characterised by a round, balanced and pleasant evolution that rests on an elegant and persistent finish.
