Montalbera's 'Il Mio Nudo' Chardonnay was born in Castiglione Tinella, in the Piedmontese Langhe. It is a mature expression of a grape variety that is indeed international, but still capable of giving expressions that communicate the terroir. To this end, the winery uses only unroasted French oak tonneaux in vinification and fermentation, to alter little and allow the wine to evolve naturally. The nose offers intense notes of ripe fruit, such as ripe banana, medlar and also floral hints of acacia. In the mouth it is ample, with great structure, intense freshness and a mineral profile that invites a second sip. Perfect with white meats or soft cheeses
