The red wine from the Château Carrosse Martillac cellar is an elegant and balanced territorial expression perfect to accompany succulent red meats. This label is made from a typically Bordeaux-style blend and matured for 6-12 months in French oak barrels. The intense ruby red colour introduces aromas of red fruits and toasted sensations while a full but harmonious sip enchants the palate

The Château Carrosse-Martillac is a Bordeaux blend with a caressing taste produced in Martillac, in the heart of the Pessac-Leognan area. This region is located in the northern part of the wine sub-region of Graves, just outside the city of Bordeaux. Here, the family-run Chateau Carrosse-Martillac tends to its vineyards aiming to create expressions at the top of the AOC Pessac-Leognan, always respecting nature and the ecosystem while utilizing the most innovative technologies in the industry. The name "Carrosse Martillac" originates from an ancient road that crossed the town of Martillac, called precisely Carrosse. The winery is located exactly in the lieu-dit La Salle, where a beautiful country house, now renovated, stands.

The Pessac-Leognan Chateau Carrosse-Martillac comes from a blend of Merlot (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), grape varieties grown on soils rich in gravel, clay, and limestone. After the harvest, carried out by hand, a careful manual selection of the bunches is performed in the winery, followed by a cold pre-fermentation maceration. The subsequent alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks, with complete malolactic fermentation, and subsequently the wine spends about a year in French oak barrels for the maturation phase that precedes bottling.

The Bordeaux red wine Chateau Carrosse-Martillac Pessac Leognan has an intense and bright ruby red color. The nose, rich and complex, expresses enveloping hints of red and black fruits, combined with perceptions of sweet spices and toasted notes. Silky and balanced on the palate, with a full body that benefits from soft tannins and balancing freshness, with a long and consistent finish recalling fruity and empyreumatic notes.
