Fiano Minutolo L'Archetipo 2025
Artisanal
Organic and biodynamicThe Fiano L'Archetipo is a white wine characterized by marine and slightly smoky nuances, obtained from Fiano Minutolo grapes, without filtration and without additives. On the nose it is floral and fruity, with hints of honey and flint. The sip is slender, agile, dry and fresh, with a unique personality.
The Fiano dell'Archetipo embodies a splendid blend of fruit and minerality, endowed at the same time with personality and irresistible drinkability. It is not easy to come across convivial wines capable of showcasing character strength and typicity, but undoubtedly the Fiano dell'Archetipo, a winery from Puglia located in the province of Taranto, falls into the exceptions. Today, the hectares owned by this very young and dynamic reality are about 23 and are cultivated with the local traditional grape varieties such as Aglianico, Fiano Minutolo, Primitivo, Negroamaro, and Greco Bianco, in the most respectful way possible, in order to preserve the vitality of the rich natural heritage. In the winery, the same belief is followed, obtaining what are sincere and refreshing expressions aimed at gratifying the everyday table, expressing in a centered and clear manner, the evident strength of the place.
The white Fiano is obtained from pure grapes of the same name, coming from vineyards that rest on clay-limestone soils. In the vineyard, the precepts of organic farming are followed, integrating them with some practices of biodynamics, and therefore excluding the use of chemical or synthetic substances. In the winery, the process continues with soft pressing and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation through pied de cuve in steel tanks for 2 months. The liquid undergoes neither filtration nor additions of sulfur before bottling.
The Fiano L'Archetipo wine presents itself in the glass with a rather delicate straw-yellow appearance. The nose is rich in suggestions but never baroque, unfolding between references to exotic fruit, hay, multifloral honey, and a clear note of flint that broadens the olfactory profile. On the palate, the wine reveals itself to be slender and juicy, as well as extremely enjoyable, also by virtue of a soft and enveloping texture. Comforting.
