The Picolit from Ronchi di Cialla is a sweet wine of rare elegance and complexity, born from dried grapes, vinified and aged for 12 months in new barriques. Notes of dried fruit, honey, and acacia flowers accompany a clear and powerful sip, supported by good freshness

The Picolit di Cialla from Ronchi di Cialla impresses with the combination established between the grape used and the terroir of origin. It is indeed a sweet label that is typically territorial, where the Colli Orientali del Friuli represent the ideal place to create a wine that is part of the history of Friulian enology. The sweetness of the taste blends with the more honeyed aromas that are perceived during the olfactory analysis, where the richness of fruit and flowers contributes to creating a generous and rich aromatic range. A label that, in addition to representing an excellent investment for one's cellar, is also perfect as a gift when invited to dinner at friends' houses.

The sweet wine Picolit di Cialla is made by the Ronchi di Cialla winery starting from a late harvest, which takes place towards the end of October. Noble rot is indeed already present on the bunches, which after harvesting continue to dry in a drying room inside wooden boxes. The must obtained from the gentle pressing of the grapes ferments spontaneously – thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts – in new Troncais barriques. The final aging first takes place in barriques for 12 months, and then, after bottling, for another 24 months in bottle, before the Picolit is put on the market.

The Picolit di Cialla manifests itself visually with a very bright and luminous golden yellow color. The olfactory spectrum revolves around notes where the fruit – mainly dried – alternates with floral references and whiffs of honey. On the palate, it has an excellent structure, rich and delicate in enveloping the palate with a perfectly balanced sweet sip, where the clarity of the tasting sensations is truly admirable. The drink proceeds with good freshness. A label that is one of the symbols of Friulian viticulture, perfect for "meditation" or paired with dry pastries or with a platter of mostly spicy cheeses, able to harmonize with the sweet component of the wine.
