sommelier's description

Rocca Guicciarda was once one of the most important estates of Baron Ricasoli, who began making wine as early as the twelfth century. It was the Baron Bettino Ricasoli in 1872, after extensive research and experimentation, to develop the formula for Chianti, which practically came almost unchanged to this day. The Chianti Classico Riserva Rocca Guicciarda has a rich and enveloping taste, heir of this illustrious tradition.
