The Terre di San Leonardo is a red wine with an intense and elegant personality and an excellent quality/price ratio, produced with a Bordeaux blend and aged for 18 months in large oak barrels and barriques. It emanates wide and persistent aromas of red fruit, plums, and spices. On the palate, it is dry, soft, and balanced, with a notable tannic structure.

Compared to San Leonardo, its older brother, the wine that made the winery known worldwide, Terre di San Leonardo undergoes a shorter aging: 80% of the wine rests for 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels; 20% matures in barriques for 6 months. The strong personality of the terroir and the character of the grape varieties that compose it (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenere) make this wine long-lived, capable of continuing to evolve and refine in the bottle for more than 5 years.
Terre di San Leonardo presents itself in a bright ruby red, offering a wide and fruity bouquet, marked by herbaceous notes. It enchants the palate with a perfect balance between softness, sapidity, and tannic structure: the tasting is solemn.
