CHIANTI CLASSICO RISERVA 'MARCHESE ANTINORI' TENUTA TIGNANELLO - ANTINORI 2021 DESCRIPTION

Antinori that is, one of the highest excellences related to the production of wine in Italy; this small and concise presentation would be enough to understand that the Riserva "Marchese Antinori," Chianti Classico DOCG that the winery makes within the Tenuta Tignanello estate, is a wine of personality, deserving of the due consideration of every wine lover. A red wine with an abundant body, where next to Sangiovese we find an international grape variety, Cabernet Sauvignon; nose and mouth are urged in unison, following a path made of intense notes and tastes, which leaves nothing to chance, and which promises, in the years to come, to evolve with integrity, authenticity and complexity.

Antinori produces Chianti Classico "Marchese Antinori" within the Tignanello estate, located between the Greve and Pesa valleys. Here, the Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from which the Riserva is made are cultivated, which, after a strictly manual harvest, ferment in steel, macerating for about 9-10 days; then comes the ageing phase, carried out in French and Hungarian oak barriques for a year, a period at the end of which bottling takes place.

The "Marchese Antinori" is a Chianti Classico Riserva that in the glass shows a ruby red colour, intense and decisive. The range of scents that come up on the nose evokes ample and balanced notes, where ripe fruit, flowers and balsamic aromas are unveiled with an order. On the palate, it is full-bodied, generousand rounded, with a good tannic grip and a pleasantly fresh mouthfeel thanks to a savoury streak. A bottle that was born within the Antinori's Tignanello Estate and that always confirms itself on excellent levels of quality, playing the role of the undisputed protagonist on tables all over the world.
