Siddùra's Carignano 'Estru' takes its name from the Sardinian word for 'inspiration'. Cultivated in the south-west of Sardinia, this indigenous grape variety thrives near the sea, where sea breezes, a warm climate and sandy soils enhance its character. The nose has a dark profile of black fruits and liquorice, complemented by fresh hints of white pepper. The palate is fresh and juicy, with persistent savoury minerality on the finish
