The LBV Traditional Port of Quinta de La Rosa is a dry, harmonious and balanced liqueur wine. Ready to give a great feeling of comfort at the end of a meal, this label offers aromas of ripe fruit, notes of violets and hints of spice. Extremely complex on the palate, it is matured for a period of 4-6 years in large wooden barrels. As it is not filtered, it may show some sediment, but does not need to be decanted

The LBV Quinta de La Rosa Traditional Port is a liqueur wine of great gustative balance, the fruit of the centuries-old savoir-faire of a winery that works according to the ancient customs of the territory. The Douro Valley has always been home to wines of exceptional quality, known and appreciated throughout the world. The Late Bottle Vintage is a refined label, with a rather dry profile and very intense aromas. As for pairings, it goes very well with dark chocolate desserts or with bitter cocoa and berries.

Late Bottle Vintage Quinta de La Rosa is Porto Traditional, a beautiful example of this sought-after type, much loved by lovers of liqueur wines. It comes from an estate managed according to principles of environmental sustainability. The vineyards are located on the banks of the Douro river and are cultivated with the indigenous red varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Sousão and Tinta Roriz. The excellent quality grapes are harvested perfectly ripe. The fermentation phase, with maceration on the skins, is stopped towards the end by adding Brandy to the must. The wine retains residual sugars and raises its alcohol content. The wine matures for a period that varies depending on the vintage from 4 to 6 years in large oak barrels. It is bottled without being filtered to maintain its natural integrity.

The LBV Quinta de La Rosa Traditional Port is the perfect example of the classic style of the winery, which has always been known for a range of refined and elegant Ports. Thanks to delicate vinification, soft extractions and low and perfectly integrated sugar residues, the labels offer consistently excellent quality. In the glass, it is dark and intense amber-red in colour. The nose is characterised by a very rich bouquet, with aromas of ripe red fruit, black cherry, dark berries, cherry, red plums, spicy notes and delicate floral nuances. Structured and complex, it has velvety tannins, harmonious and multifaceted aromas, leading to a very persistent finish.
