Casa Setaro's Aglianico 'Terramatta' comes from ungrafted vines on the sandy slopes of Vesuvius. It ferments in steel after 72 hours of cryomaceration, a technique that allows for maximum extraction of aromas. The nose reveals a 'dark' profile with blackberry, violet and fine liquorice, with light smoky nuances. The palate is intense but velvety, warm, supported by a fine tannic texture. Perfect with red meats and mature cheeses, ideal with grilled sausage
