This 'Igiea' from Tenuta Grillo is a red wine with a strong identity, dedicated to the producer's wife and the goddess of health. A mature wine with good ageing potential, the long maceration on the skins aids ageing, allowing it to maintain a precise and measured texture without compromising on freshness. The nose is fresh and crisp, with red fruit jam, light spices and tobacco on the finish. On the palate, it is taut and linear, with discreet tannins and great momentum. It pairs well with game and structured first courses such as risotto with wild boar and blueberries
