PINOT BIANCO 'FINADO' ANDRIANO 2023 DESCRIPTION

The 'Finado' wine is a Pinot Blanc that expresses the more traditional characteristics of the starting varietal. The aromas on the nose are in fact typically fruity and floral, and the colour, a light straw yellow with greenish highlights, is also typical of this grape. Great credit, therefore, goes to Andriano, a South Tyrolean company that interprets the peculiarities of Pinot Bianco well in a label with a fresh and dynamic taste, perfect for accompanying the most varied aperitifs and first and second courses based on fish and shellfish.

Pinot Bianco 'Finado' comes from the grapes of the same name, carefully cultivated by the Andriano winery in vineyard parcels characterised by a reddish subsoil, rich in layers of white dolomite stone. The bunches of grapes are carefully selected during manual harvesting and, after destemming, the grapes go through the pressing stage. The must obtained ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers. This is followed by the maturation phase, also carried out in stainless steel, in which the wine is left to rest on its fine lees for 6 months before being bottled and marketed.

The 'Finado' Pinot Bianco di Andriano presents itself to the eye with a pale straw yellow colour, characterised by slight greenish hues on the rim. The nose is dominated by essentially floral aromas, enhanced by touches of citrus peel and nuances of white-fleshed fruit. On the palate, it is light-bodied and smooth, with a mouthfeel that iswell balanced between savouriness and freshness; it closes with a finish marked by a slightly almondy aftertaste. A linear and straightforward bottle, which also comes with an attractive price tag, an element to be taken into serious consideration.
