Livio Felluga's Pinot Grigio is one of the most popular labels from one of Friuli's most famous wineries. Livio Felluga began his activity as a producer by purchasing some vineyards in Rosazzo, in one of the most beautiful and vocated locations in the entire Colli Orientali area. Right from the start he directed his production towards a quest for uncompromising quality, to make the most of the vines historically present in the area. Today Livio Felluga manages an estate of over 150 hectares in the best areas of the Colli Orientali and Collio, with some prestigious plots in the Rosazzo area. His labels, which depict ancient maps of the territory, are known throughout the world and have become a warranty of absolute quality.
Pinot Grigio Felluga is a splendid interpretation of the grape variety, in the sign of elegance and expressive balance, that brings to the glass the best characteristics of a particularly suitable terroir such as that of the Colli Orientali. After manual harvesting, the grapes are softly pressed and the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine rests on the lees in steel tanks for about 6 months. In the glass it has a light yellow colour with brilliant copper reflections. The bouquet is rich and broad, with aromas of white flowers, aromas of ripe fruit, peach, apricot, and citrus nuances. It is seductive on the palate, with intense, enveloping aromas that extend towards a pleasantly fruity finish, with good persistence of flavour.
