The Kraken Black Spiced Rum is a unique version of Caribbean rum produced on the island of Trinidad and Tobago. It represents a true rarity, tied to an absolutely unusual process. The sugarcane distillate is flavoured with natural spices that enrich the classic taste of rum with elegant aromatic notes. It's not a label for purists but rather for those who want to discover something new, a creative and original interpretation of this famous Caribbean spirit. Due to its complexity and richness, it is particularly suitable for creating cocktails with a surprising taste.

The Black Spiced has carved out an important space in the Caribbean rum scene for its unconventional character. It is a modern interpretation of the famous spirit, launched about a decade ago. The Caribbean rum producer, Kraken Company, from Trinidad and Tobago, created a new version of rum designed especially for the world of modern mixology, always searching for novelties. In reality, the recipe is inspired by the old customs of Caribbean pirates, who often flavoured rum with spices to soften its taste. The result is a spirit with an enveloping, intense character endowed with a charming and complex aromatic spectrum.

The Black Spiced, produced by Kraken Company, is an unconventional rum. It is made from high-quality sugarcane molasses, to which 11 different spices are added, including cinnamon, ginger, coffee, and cloves. Intense and multifaceted, it is a rum particularly appreciated in the preparation of cocktails. In the art of mixing, it can express its full aromatic originality. After distillation and enrichment with spices, the rum matures for a period of 12-24 months in oak barrels. In the glass, it presents itself with a very dark amber colour. It offers intense and complex aromas on the nose, ranging from soft spices to ginger, caramel to dark chocolate notes, bitter cocoa and coffee to black pepper. On the palate, it is warm and smooth, with a mid-palate that seduces with extraordinary richness and aromatic persistence.
