CHAMPAGNE BRUT CUVÉE 'ENTRE CIEL ET TERRE' FRANCOISE BEDEL DESCRIPTION

The Champagne Brut Cuvée "Entre Ciel et Terre" is one of the most complex and original expressions of the entire region, yet another testimony to class and genius signed by Francoise Bedel. Yes, because among the names of the most multifaceted vigneron in the region, the Bedel family's name rightly figures, which has been bottling liquids marked by immense vitality and expressive force since 1979. It is not only a matter related to the agronomic protocol followed, which does not involve the use of chemicals or synthetic substances either in the vineyard or in the cellar, but also and above all, a deep and sensitive knowledge of terroir, grape varieties and vintages. The choice to grow predominantly Pinot Meunier is thus gratified by bottles that break away from anonymous and homologated expressions, capable of electrifying enthusiasts and neophytes alike. Typical of the outliers.

Champagne Cuvée "Entre Ciel et Terre" Brut is obtained and is made predominantly from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, not hiding the backbone and structure. The vineyards from which the grapes used for the cuvee come are over 30 years old and are grown without the use of chemicals, herbicides or pesticides, following biodynamic principles. After spontaneous alcoholic fermentation of the base wines, which takes place in barriques, the cuveè is blended with subsequent re-fermentation in the bottle and ageing for 72 months on the lees.

"Entre Ciel et Terre'" presents itself in the goblet with a straw-coloured robe that veers towards golden and extremely fine and persistent perlage, typical of great Champagnes. Complex and multifaceted nose, as well as extremely dynamic, characterized by hints of acacia, lime, citrus peel and toast. The sip is no less impressive in terms of expressiveness and vital progression, yet without sacrificing elegance and remarkable length. Splendent.
