The Crozes-Hermitage Blanc from Domaine des Entrefaux is a white wine from an iconic French wine region, the northern Rhône Valley. This Domaine works organically with great respect for its land, that Crozes-Hermitage which is increasingly sought after by enthusiasts. This blend of Marsanne and Roussanne offers a fragrant bouquet of white flowers, citrus fruits and intriguing notes of wax, typical of the variety. On the palate, it is warm, very smooth and well-balanced. Its structure and lingering finish make it perfect for accompanying a fish barbecue or pork dishes

The Crozes-Hermitage Blanc from Domaine des Entrefaux is an elegant and intense white wine produced on the left bank of the largest vineyard in the northern Rhône region. The climate is mild, influenced by cold air currents descending from the north and warm Mediterranean breezes rising inland from the coast. The soils are very varied and all highly suitable for wine growing. In the northern part, we find granite soils covered with loess, while the central area consists of large terraces of alluvial pebbles with loess and sand. In the south, galets roulés mixed with red clay prevail, forming vast plateaus. Thanks to these particular soil and climate conditions, the area is able to produce great white wines with a strong and decisive character, harmonious and sunny.

Blanc Crozes-Hermitage is produced by an interesting estate in the Rhône Valley, which produces wines that are faithful to the character of the territory. Domaine des Entrefaux manages a 28-hectare property following the principles of organic farming and biodynamic practices, while also seeking to promote biodiversity by cultivating arable crops alongside the vines. The wines are made with rigour and care, seeking to intervene as little as possible in the production process. The Marsanne and Roussanne grapes come from vineyards that are around 25 years old, located in the Beaumont-Monteaux, Chanos-Curson and Mercurol areas, characterised by calcareous-clay soils with a presence of skeleton. At the end of the manual harvest, the bunches are gently pressed and the free-run juice is sent for fermentation. The wine is aged for a period of 9 months, also undergoing malolactic fermentation, 60% in steel tanks and 40% in wooden barrels and egg-shaped concrete containers.

The Crozes-Hermitage Blanc wine from Domaine des Entrefaux is the pure expression of the typical characteristics of the Rhône terroir, which produces rich and smooth wines that are very pleasant and satisfying, and can be safely stored in the cellar for 4 or 5 years. In the glass, it is bright yellow with light golden reflections. The bouquet is intense and rich, with aromas of ripe yellow fruit, peach, apricot, pineapple, tropical notes, hints of wild flowers and soft sensations of honey and petits fours. Harmonious and full-bodied, it presents itself on the palate with ripe, dense fruit, offering a soft and persuasive sip, well balanced by a clear savoury vein and good freshness.
