Haig Dimple

The well-known Dimple whisky is produced by Haig, historical distillery born in 1824 in Cameronbridge by John Haig. The distillery, now owned by Diageo, has become over the years one of the largest in Europe and currently includes four labels: Haig Club, Gold Haig, Haig Pinch and Haig Dimple.

Dimple is a Blended whisky famous for the characteristic shape of its bottle introduced in the1890s: it was sought after as a piggy bank for the silver coins of 3 and 6 penny! Slightly peaty, aged 15 years in ex-Bourbon oak barrels, in its mixing are used more than 30 quality malts, as Glenkinchie and Linkwood. It is also one of the whiskies chosen by James Bond in Ian Fleming's books! A blended with a very high reputation all over the world, certainly above the average.
