Bulli's Gutturnio Frizzante is the wine that best represents Colli Piacentini reds' lively and convivial face. It is the territory's most typical label, made from the grapes of red grape varieties that have always been present in these lands: Barbera, Bonarda and other local varieties. It is a sparkling wine produced with the Ancestral Method, that is, with a natural re-fermentation in the bottle. Its fresh and lively sip enhances the fruity fragrance of the grapes, making it extraordinarily easy and pleasant to drink. It is a perfect wine to take to the table with a platter of tasty local cured meats.

The red Gutturnio Frizzante is the emblem of the Colli Piacentini, the true iconic wine of the area. In this area, sparkling wines have a long history behind them and still represent the glass to drink in company on any occasion. The Bulli family has been cultivating these lands since the early 1900s and today manages an estate of around ten hectares, where the classic grapes of the area are grown: Barbera, Bonarda and Ortrugo. The vineyard is at the centre of the whole project, and no chemical preparations are used between the rows to preserve a healthy environment naturally rich in biodiversity. Only quality grapes arrive at the winery, and oenological work is limited to transforming the grapes into wine in the most natural way possible. Thanks to the special attention paid to the grapes, the wines succeed in transmitting the best varietal and terroir characteristics.

Bulli's Gutturnio Frizzante wine is a red wine that comes from vines facing southeast and is cultivated on loamy-clayey soils with the presence of sand. At the end of the classic red vinification process, using only indigenous yeasts, it is re-fermented in the bottle sur lie, according to the Metodo Ancestrale, the oldest sparkling wine-making system. In the glass, it is bright ruby red in colour, accompanied by a soft purple mousse. On the nose, it expresses aromas of small red berries, floral hints, hints of undergrowth and slight spicy memories. The sip is brilliant and satisfying, with crisp, rich fruit. The tannins are delicate, and the finish expresses a lively freshness.
