The Lambrusco “Otello Nero” by Ceci Winery is the first Lambrusco to be recognize as excellent by the Italian Association of Sommeliers. It has been winning for years the important award of the 5 bunches in the italian guide called Bibenda. It is an extreme and innovative Lambrusco, with an important structured and a very dark purple-red color, with black shadows.
“Otello Nero” is the top wine of Ceci Winery, dedicated to the founder Otello Ceci, an innkeeper of the 30’s that was famous in all the territory around Parma for his specialities (salted pork and sausages) and the local wine served in typical bowls. “Otello Nero” was created in 2003, after long experimentations in the family vineyard, thanks to the passion and work of Otello’s grandchildren, engaged in an important challenge that thei have won: now “Otello Nero” is considered as a masterpiece and Ceci’s family has become a landmark of the high quality Lambrusco.
The Lambrusco “Otello Nero” Ceci is characterized by pleasant aromas and a slightly sweet personality, with fruity and intense notes that represent a perfect combination for Italian food (not only pizza and pasta). It emanates wonderful perfumes of berries, pomegranate, roses, violets, sweet spices and herbs. In the mouth it offers savory and fruity notes with creamy and lively touch. “Otello Nero di Lambrusco” is able to conquer your senses and make you fall in love, giving an exciting culinary experience.
