Maison Mirabeau is a Provençal excellence that produces a range of elegant and refined rosé wines. The project came to life in 2008 when Stephen Cronk, tired of working in the business world and the hectic life in London, decided to forgo a promotion and resign. Stephen and his wife Jeany sold their house and left England to move to Cotignac, a small village in Provence. The passion for wine and love for the beautiful landscape of southern France prompted the couple to look for an estate to dedicate themselves to viticulture. The idea was to start producing high-quality rosé wines, following the best traditions of the region.

They chose an estate located 5 kilometers from La Garde-Freinet, a typical Provençal village, situated in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez territory. Thus, Domaine Mirabeau was born in an area falling under the AOC Côte de Provence, characterized by wild and unspoiled nature, thanks to the presence of the Réserve Naturelle Nationale de la Plaine des Maures. The property extends over a total of around twenty hectares, with 14 dedicated to viticulture. The cultivated grape varieties are the classic ones of the southern French regions: Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Rolle. The vineyards are located on hilly terrain, at an altitude of 150-200 meters above sea level, on soils of medium texture with a limestone-clay matrix. The climate is Mediterranean, mild and temperate, always refreshed by maritime breezes. A perfect habitat for obtaining grapes of excellent quality.

The Maison Mirabeau cellar is managed with great attention to the surrounding environment and natural biodiversity, following the principles of Regenerative Agriculture. This approach starts with organic practices and implements a broader vision of ecosystem well-being as a whole, through a holistic perspective. No pesticides or chemicals are used, fertilization is based on organic compost, and the vitality of the soil is encouraged by promoting spontaneous and natural biodiversity. The result is a healthy and balanced vineyard that naturally produces low yields. Maison Mirabeau's wines perfectly express the classic style of Provençal rosés, with labels characterized by great expressive finesse, featuring delicate, harmonious aromas, and a pleasant freshness.
