Manzanilla Fina Solera is a dry, fresh and bright white wine made from pure Palomino grapes from the Jerez region of Spain. Its intense aromas of citrus and sea intertwine with a vertical and decisive body, characterised by a marked savouriness that enhances its personality.

Through its marine and Mediterranean essence, Bodegas Del Rio's Manzanilla Fina 'Solera' is able to transport the senses to the warm Andalusian beaches where this fortified wine is produced. Manzanilla is a speciality of the Sanlucar de Barrameda area, where Bodegas Del Rio operates. The Spanish term 'manzanilla' indicates the infusion of chamomile and was chosen as the name for the denomination because the aroma of these liqueur wines is often reminiscent of chamomile tea. The Del Rio family, owner of the bodega that bears its name, has taken up the production and marketing of Manzanilla on its own after a long period of time spent working as an 'almacenista', thus supplying wine to important wineries in the area.

The 'Solera' Bodegas Del Rio Manzanilla Fina is made from pure Palomino Fino grapes grown in the Sanlucar de Barrameda area, on white Albariza soils characterised by an abundance of chalk, limestone, clay and sand. The vines, over 30 years old, also benefit from the typically warm, Mediterranean and windy climate that characterises the area. Harvesting is done by hand and, in accordance with tradition, ageing takes place in wooden barrels according to the Solera Method, for a total period of around 4 years, during which the wine develops its characteristic aromas.

The Manzanilla 'Solera' Fina from the family-run Bodegas Del Rio has a straw-yellow colour with golden hues. Decisive scents of salted citrus and white flowers emerge from the glass, surrounded by deep iodised mineral sensations. The taste is surprising for its freshness and verticality, with a straight and intense progression that is accompanied by a pleasant marine trail.
