Albert Bichot's Pouilly-Fuissé is a white wine with character from the Mâconnais. It comes from steep vineyards in the southernmost, sun-kissed area of Burgundy. The result is a fuller, fruitier Chardonnay-based wine, with clear aromas of white and yellow fruit combined with spices reminiscent of the passage in wood such as vanilla. On the palate one enjoys a mineral, vibrant and balanced but also textural sip. Ideal for savoury shellfish dishes
Mild golden yellow
Notes of white-fleshed fruit such as peach and baked apple, hints of wood passage such as vanilla, butter on the finish
Lively and round, with a distinctly aromatic and warm finish
