PROSECCO DI VALDOBBIADENE DRY 'CRUNER' LE COLTURE DESCRIPTION

Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Dry 'Cruner' Le Colture was born in Valdobbiadene, a Unesco World Heritage Site and home of world-famous whites. The Ruggeri family has been cultivating these lands for more than 500 years, but it was not until 1983 that Cesare Ruggeri started the sparkling wine business. From generation to generation the secret of the art of winemaking has been handed down and every product that leaves the cellar is the fruit of constant work and solid commitment, aimed at the impeccable quality of the final product. Today, Cesare's children Silvia, Alberto and Veronica have taken over the reins of the historic family business, bringing a breath of fresh air in both winemaking techniques and marketing, positioning the business among the best on the international market.

The vineyards of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Dry "Cruner" Le Colture are located solely in the Valdobbiadene area: here the soil is rich in sandstone and clay for a structured and elegant end product. The climate is characterised by cold winters, often affected by snowfall and sporadic frosts, and hot, sultry summers. Intervention in the vineyard is calibrated and respectful of the natural growth and development phases of the plants and the raw material. The grapes are harvested between mid-September and mid-October; the bunches are then softly pressed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place without the skins. It re-ferments in the bottle according to the Charmat Method.

In the glass, Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Dry "Cruner" Le Colture appears pale straw yellow, while the perlage is fine and persistent. The nose perceives hints of yellow-fleshed fruit and white flowers for a fine and delicate bouquet; in the mouth it is elegant, enveloping and harmonious with a good final freshness that recalls glass after glass. It goes perfectly with seafood dishes and appetisers; also perfect with pandoro and panettone, dry pastries and fruit cakes with custard. Excellent for aperitifs with work colleagues to celebrate important milestones or for family anniversaries.
