PROSECCO DI VALDOBBIADENE SUPERIORE BRUT 'QUARTESE' RUGGERI DESCRIPTION

The Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut “Quartese” by Ruggeri is a fresh and delicate sparkling wine, ideal for enjoying as an aperitif or accompanying seafood and vegetable appetizers. It is made from pure Glera grapes sourced from vineyards in the classic Valdobbiadene area. The sparkling wine production using the Martinotti or Charmat Method highlights the floral notes and fruity fragrance of an elegant and savory sip, which, thanks to the low dosage, brings out the varietal character of the grapes in their most authentic and typical integrity.

The Brut “Quartese” is a Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore produced by one of the historic wineries in the region. The Ruggeri winery was founded in the post-war period and remains a benchmark for Prosecco di Valdobbiadene. Their labels are part of the elite of production, distinguished by refined elegance and territorial typicity. The estate comprises 17 hectares of property, supplemented by grapes from about a hundred small growers in the Valdobbiadene area. The vineyards are located on the steep slopes of the Prealpine hills, making the work difficult and laborious, to the point where it can be considered heroic viticulture. The excellent quality of the grapes is the foundation of Ruggeri’s success, known for combining freshness and aromatic intensity, resulting in a surprising longevity for Prosecco.

The Prosecco Brut “Quartese” is a Valdobbiadene Superiore sparkling wine produced by the Ruggeri winery. It is a dry version, with a taut and vertical profile, of this delightful sparkling wine that is enjoying extraordinary success even beyond national borders. At the end of the white vinification, the base wines are transferred to autoclaves for the second fermentation and sparkling process using the Charmat Method. In the glass, it presents a light straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The bouquet expresses floral scents, citrus aromas, and fragrant white fruit, particularly apple and pear. The sip is delicate and savory, with a dynamic development, crisp fruit, and a pleasantly refreshing finish. Fresh and enjoyable, it is the classic bottle that disappears in no time.
