The Pelissero winery is nestled like a small diamond between the medieval tower of Barbaresco and the castle of Guarene, between the Roero area and the Alps, which gradually merge into the gentle hills before meeting again in the town of Treiso. This is where this winery stands, facing Monte Rosa and Monviso, in a breathtaking landscape. The Langhe blood proudly runs through the veins of this family, in a land that is as abundant as it is expert in exploiting its fruits. Reaping the harvest in order to sow, aside from the metaphor, is the main element in the philosophy of the Pelissero family, who firmly believe in evolution with respect for tradition. Passion, commitment and innovative dynamism are the values that stimulate the frenetic work of the collaborators too, who are drawn from every corner of the Earth to assist in the production of wines that fully express the soul of the Langhe.

The wines of Pelissero speak the native language of the Barbera, Nebbiolo and Dolcetto grapes, with all their interpretations and reservations. Their roots are sunk in sandstone banks and blue marls, while the terroir also changes slightly from one hill to another, expressing itself with different characteristics in each bottle. The Tanaro River hydrates the soil and influences the climate, resulting in the typical mists in this area on dull autumn evenings. With meticulous attention to detail, such as exposure and type of soil, the most suitable variety for planting is wisely chosen, with the utmost respect for Nature. The harvest is generally carried out at the end of September, early October, and the grapes are gently pressed. After vinification in stainless steel tanks, almost all the wines are aged in barriques. The secrets of the winemakers are locked in the bottles, secured by corks, and are only revealed to those who want to hear this wonderful story of the Langhe area.

The Pelissero winery is very attached to the divulgation aspect of its wines, especially for the commitment and the research that it invests in introducing them on the market, and therefore gladly invites the curious to come forward and discover further. The Nebbiolo amazes with its direct and fragrant notes, as well as its version in Barbaresco of "Nubiola", "Tulin" and "Vanotu", with their bright and inviting ruby red colour, and their soft, floral and fruity notes. Finally, there are the Dolcetto D'Alba "Augenta" and the Barbera "Tulin", which are bold expressions of these territories. It is undoubtedly the passion and dedication of an entire family, which with great expertise succeeds in shaping the beauty of the Langhe in all its facets.
