Tenuta Santodeno's Sangiovese Superiore Romagna is an intense and juicy red wine, a typical expression of the territory. Produced in the Forlivese Hills from Sangiovese grapes, with part of the bunches left to over-ripen on the vine and matured in 25-hectolitre French oak barrels. The bright red colour introduces aromas of cherry but the bouquet evolves on darker hints of plum and liquorice. The palate is juicy, warm and soft, with sweet tannins and a lingering finish.
