In the celebrated wine region of Bordeaux, precisely in the commune of Tresses, a few kilometres from the centre of the city of Bordeaux, lies Chateau Lauduc, an extensive oenological reality that operates under the banner of respect for the land and family tradition. After years of dedicating their land to pastures, fruit trees and a few Chasselas vineyards, in the first half of the 20th century the Grandeau family, owners of Chateau Lauduc, decided to move towards quality wine-growing, without giving up pastures and orchards. From the 1980s onwards, the family specialised definitively in wine-growing and in 1988 inaugurated the first wine-making premises equipped with steel tanks. The expansion work was constant and with the entry of the new generations, in particular brothers Hervé and Régis, Chateau Lauduc also established itself on a commercial level, while also increasingly turning towards environmentally friendly production.

The Chateau Lauduc estate has no less than 115 hectares of vineyards, cultivated using a sustainable agronomic approach and dedicated to the traditional Bordeaux varietals: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot among the black grapes, Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon among the white grapes. The vines are situated on hilly slopes in the Entre-Deux-Mers area, facing south and consisting mainly of clay, limestone and gravel. In the cellar, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks or in wooden vats and the containers used for ageing are also varied, with steel used for the fresher, more accessible wines and small French and American oak barrels used for the thicker expressions, with varying percentages of new wood.

The production of Chateau Lauduc consists mainly of red wines, although there is no shortage of whites, rosés and even sparkling wines. These labels are very pleasant and always well balanced in their components, testimony to the Grandeau family's passion for quality wines.
