Founded in 1984 by Arturo Pellizzatti Perego, who poured the precious wealth of knowledge and values inherited from his family, today Ar.Pe.Pe is a dynamic and evolving winery, led by Isabella and Emanuele Pellizzati Perego, children of Arturo. Although young, Isabella and Emanuele are the new characters to understand the Valtellina’s system: the strong link with tradition, the great technical innovations in the vineyard and in the winery to create wines of great character, who are able to express the full potential of mountain’s Nebbiolo. The two young brothers have chosen to innovate looking at the tradition, the integrity and the respect for the heritage of their family’s vineyards; only in this way it was possible to keep the line followed by Arturo, not forgetting, however, to open up to innovative choices and evolving from a technological standpoint.

Therefore, it was decided also to make choices eco-sensitive, with zero impact on the environment, such as the use of geothermal energy, which uses the natural heat geological and with which Ar.Pe.Pe rule temperatures cellar and rooms above ground. All these measures have been adopted as a due tribute that Ar.Pe.Pe winery has paid to the richness of the Valtellina, a richness that lives with the love of the company resulting from a century and a half in the fullness of its beautiful wines.

In order to be proud representatives of Valtellina, the wines spend years of slow evolution until bottling, strictly punctuated by the phases of the moon, as was done with Arturo. Aging traditional Nebbiolo invest precise expectations: a gradual gain in sophistication and exaltation of the native lands with their specificity. A great winery, which makes famous Valtellina terroir harvest after harvest.
