White 'Memoro' Piccini

Piccini's Bianco 'Memoro' is meant to be a hymn to the thousand faces of Italian viticulture. A jovial and graceful white in spirit, it develops warmth and freshness at the same time. On the nose, the profile is distinctly fruity, with white and yellow-fleshed fruit intertwined with seductive tropical notes. On the palate, it is refreshing and concentrated, making it a perfect match with both light meats and intense fish dishes

WHITE 'MEMORO' PICCINI DESCRIPTION

The Bianco 'Memoro' from the Tuscan winery Piccini is a white wine with a fine aromatic character, resulting from the combination of four different grape varieties from different Italian regions. Indeed, the wind rose depicted on the label was chosen precisely to represent, with its four cardinal points, the varieties present in this blend, each symbolising its respective territory of origin. Furthermore, the appellation 'Memoro', derived from the Latin, stands for 'remember', a reference to the proud and long winemaking tradition of the Piccini family, active in this sector since way back in 1882.

The Piccini Bianco 'Memoro' comes from the combination of four white grape varieties cultivated in different Italian regions and also from different vintages. Harvesting takes place between August and September and each variety is then vinified separately. The must obtained from the soft pressing of the grapes is conveyed into stainless steel tanks for temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation. The final blend is then made only after the wines of each variety have matured.

The 'Memoro' Bianco from the renowned family-run Piccini has a deep straw-yellow colour. The olfactory panorama is described by fruity hints of peach, yellow apple, pineapple and pear, associated with floral and tropical fruit memories. Taste development is fresh, slender and crystalline, with a surprisingly fragrant and lively finish and good concentration. The ideal pairing for this white wine is seafood cuisine, although it also lends itself to accompanying not excessively elaborate white meat dishes.
