BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR CHATEAU DE REIGNAC 2019 DESCRIPTION

Bordeaux Superieur comes from a skilful blend that celebrates the Bordeaux-style blend, consisting of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Three grapes that each manages to give their own characteristic aspects to the final product, which is very pleasant to drink, without ever being tiring, but rather presenting a punctually enveloping sip. A blend with an international scope then, with which Chateau de Reignac confirms itself as one of the most interesting production realities in the Bordeaux area, also for its ability to give life to quality bottles characterized by affordable prices.

Bordeaux Superior Chateau De Reignac is made from a blend of typical Bordeaux red grapes, where next to a 70 percent Merlot we find a 25 percent Cabernet Sauvignon and a 5 percent Cabernet Franc. The vines of these three varieties are cultivated with great care, and during manual harvesting, only the best bunches are selected and then destemmed. After the grapes are pressed, the vinification stage is carried out. Ageing then occurs in French oak barrels, where it remains to ripen for 16 months until it is ready to be bottled and marketed.

This Bordeaux Superieur made by Chateau De Reignac reveals itself to the eye with a colour that recalls the typical ruby red hue. The nose is a beautiful varietal expression of the grape varieties that give rise to it, with fruity hints alternating with more spicy notes from which a pleasant vegetal touch also emerges. In the mouth, it is medium-bodied, banding on the palate, with a sip marked by a finish endowed with excellent persistence. It is a red that lends itself well to being given as a gift to friends who are fans of French wines.
