Muscat Freyheit Weingut Heinrich 2021

Muscat Freyheit Weingut Heinrich 2021

Weingut Heinrich

Muscat Freyheit from the Weingut Heinrich wine cellar is an extraordinarily unexpected white wine, the incongruence between nose and mouth leaves anyone astounded. It is made from a blend of Muscat and Pinot Blanc macerated on the skins and matured for 11 months in amphora, then finally bottled in clay. The very aromatic nose rich in fruit and flowers introduces a broad, soft, enveloping, slightly bitter and very long sip

MUSCAT FREYHEIT WEINGUT HEINRICH 2021 DESCRIPTION

Muscat "Freyheit" from Weingut Heinrich is an Austrian wine produced in Burgenland, the area considered to be the warmest in the Austrian nation. The winery's working philosophy is to respect nature and its fruits, in order to produce wines that can be in total symbiosis with the overall ecosystem: intervention in the vineyard reduced to the bare minimum, ripening times respected and indulged, and the choice to follow the dictates of biodynamic agriculture for wines that are more resistant, vital and have diverse flavors.

The Muscat and Pinot Blanc grapes of Weingut Heinrich's Muscat "Freyheit" grow on an extraordinary terroir and is composed mainly of cold limestone that stores the heat of the mycascist that can store the heat of solar radiation and the freshness of the forests surrounding the vineyards give the grapes a simply excellent flavor; the southern location ensures good sun exposure for full ripening of the grapes. Harvesting is done manually in mid-September; spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration on the skins for 12 days takes place. It is aged 11 months in amphora on the lees.

The color of Weingut Heinrich's Muscat "Freyheit" is a golden yellow with intense highlights. The bouquet of aromas is reminiscent of persimmon, wild fennel and hints of white flowers on the finish; on the palate it is creamy, smooth and enveloping with a final persistence that entices glass after glass. In pairing it is excellent with grilled fish dishes, sushi and sashimi and seafood risotto; also interesting with vegetarian dishes. A product with unexpected and authentic flavors, to be reserved for enthusiastic friends for cheerful evenings, to enjoy in the glass a wine with unique scents.
