RED WINE NEGROAMARO 'F' SAN MARZANO 2020 DESCRIPTION

The Negroamaro "F" by Cantine San Marzano is an Apulian red wine with great character and great body thanks to the aging for 12 months in French oak barrels. Cantine San Marzano has been able to quickly achieve success in Italy and around the world with its wines which combine a strong matrix traditional to the modern approach to the cellar where the vineyard is not enforced and where you try to get a perfect ripening of the fruits with doing use of agricultural techniques inherited from the past. The Negroamaro "F" by Cantine San Marzano was born in the district of Monte La Conca, where San Marzano leaves room for Francavilla Fontana. Here the vineyards are located on soils dominated by red soils due to the high presence of iron oxides, with a limestone layer and sometimes rocky. The local terroir is complete with a rather hot climate and with a decidedly low rainfall; conditions combined with the considerable variations in temperature, helping to boost the aroma and freshness of the grapes. Thus was born the Negroamaro "F", a Negroamaro softness that makes its main feature; a softness that comes from the passage for 12 months in barrique. Great body, soft and harmonious, rich in tannins and lovely notes of spices, berries and cherries.
