Du Vin aux Liens' Orange 'A Hug for You' is a partially macerated white wine made from Riesling, Pinot Gris and Sylvaner grapes. It is a fresh and fairly mineral wine that matures for 12 months in fibreglass tanks before being bottled. We recommend pairing it with a cold fish hors d'oeuvre or a blue cheese board

The 'A Hug for You' Orange Wine from Du Vin aux Liens is an Alsatian label with an intense and modern style, the result of a truly sustainable production vision. It is a blend of Sylvaner, Pinot Grigio, and Riesling Renano, three of the traditional grape varieties of Alsace. Specifically, the Sylvaner and Pinot Grigio contribute body and structure to the blend, while the Riesling adds freshness and liveliness, all enriched by a partial skin maceration that adds complexity to the wine.
'A Hug for You' Du Vin aux Liens Orange is derived from a blend of Riesling Renano (40%), Pinot Grigio (40%), and Sylvaner (20%) grapes, varieties cultivated in accordance with the principles of certified organic agriculture. After harvesting, the Riesling and Pinot Grigio grapes are gently pressed directly, while the Sylvaner undergoes 14 days of maceration on the whole grape clusters. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out by the natural yeasts present on the berries and in the winemaking environment and is followed by 12 months of maturation in fiberglass tanks. Throughout the entire process, the use of invasive operations and treatments, such as clarification and stabilization, is excluded.
Visually, the Alsace Orange 'A Hug for You' from Du Vin aux Liens exhibits a distinctive amber-yellow color with orange reflections. Fruity and floral aromas of rose, carnation, apricot, peach, and candied fruit describe the olfactory profile, accompanied by sweet hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is fresh and intense, with good structure supported by moderate tannins and a savory mineral note. An Alsatian orange wine with a lively and slightly funky personality, designed to be enjoyed in its youth but with the structure to support several years of bottle aging.
