PROSECCO DI VALDOBBIADENE EXTRA BRUT 'COL CREDAS - RIVE FARRA DI SOLIGO' ADAMI 2022 DESCRIPTION

The Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Extra Brut 'Col Credas - Rive Farra di Soligo' from the Veneto winery Adami is able to enrapture the senses with its fragrant fruity and floral aromatic profile. This label belongs to the Valdobbiadene DOCG 'Rive' typology, a term that indicates hills with a particular viticultural vocation characterized by steep soils that are difficult to work. Proseccos belonging to the 'Rive' typology, always accompanied by the name of the municipality or hamlet of reference, as in the case of the municipality of Farra di Soligo, must comply with decidedly more restrictive cultivation rules and winemaking practices.

Adami Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Extra Brut 'Col Credas - Rive Farra di Soligo' is made with only Glera grapes grown on steeply sloping hillside soils facing south and southeast. The altitude is between 300 and 350 meters above sea level while the soil, lean and clayey, dry and shallow, lies on limestone rocks. The harvest is carried out between September and October, and in the winery the grapes are vinified in white through soft pressing, static decantation of the must and alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, the same wine containers where the liquid remains to mature for at least 6 months on the fine lees. This is followed by frothing in autoclaves according to the Martinotti Method at low temperature, and the wine is finally bottled without dosage.

Adami's Valdobbiadene Prosecco 'Col Credas - Rive Farra di Soligo' Extra Brut has a straw yellow color with dense effervescence. The nose unfolds on delicate floral notes of wisteria and acacia, followed by hints of white-fleshed fruit and citrus. Intense, very dry and balanced, it is marked by a decisive savory timbre.
