Champagne Sadi Malot is a family-owned Maison located in the east of the Montagne de Reims, just a few kilometers from the famous Grand Crus of Verzy and Verzenay. The origins of the domaine date back to the late 19th century, and today the property is managed by Cindy Malot, who represents the fifth generation of winemakers and continues to carry on the family tradition by making a range of artisanal Champagnes of excellent quality. This is typical vigneron production, directly and immediately expressing the characteristics of the area, giving voice to the soil, grapes and vintage in their utmost purity and intensity of expression.

The vineyards cover a total area of 10 hectares, planted 80% with Chardonnay in the communal Premier Cru area of Villers-Marmery and 20% with Pinot Noir in the legendary Grand Cru of Verzy, in one of the most vocated areas in all of Champagne for the cultivation of the noble red grape variety. Since 2004, the vineyards have been managed under sustainable agriculture, with full respect for the environment and natural biodiversity. No herbicides or insecticides are used in the countryside, and only organic fertilizers and soil plowing are used to promote aeration and soil vitality. Since 2014 the estate has also been HEV certified (Haute Valeur Environnementale - level 3) and is currently in the process of converting to organic farming, so as to further reduce the farm's impact.

Underlying these choices is a genuine sensitivity to the environment and a desire to preserve the terroir, a true value and corporate heritage to be protected and handed down intact to future generations. Thanks to these attentions in the vineyard, the vines produce healthy and genuine grapes, which are then pressed in a very delicate way to extract only the first fraction of the flower must. Vinification takes place very gently, and the wines are then aged for a long time in the cellar so that they can reach full expressive maturity before dégorgement. The result is a range of Champagnes that well illustrate the intense and decisive personality of this area, blending elegance and finesse with structure and power.
