The Gini winery is nestled in the most suitable hills of the classic Soave wine area. The family owns dozens of hectares in the town of Monteforte d'Alpone ( which is still the headquarters of the winery) dating back to the 16th century and, for this very reason, they are considered to be among the oldest winemakers in Soave. Today the brothers Sandro, Claudio and their sister Marta, with the help of young Matteo, represent the latest generation of the Gini family and the remaining heirs to the winery that has made history and contributed to the success of this land. The custodians of a great and long tradition, they have dedicated themselves to the world of wine since their youth, travelling around Europe and working in various wineries to learn all the secrets of the art of winemaking and then combining them with the expertise handed down from generation to generation by their father Olinto. This is how the wines of Gini have become a symbol of the territory and are also widely recognised and appreciated on international markets.

In the vineyard, the Gini family takes care of the land with great passion and love, following the rhythms of nature and the seasons. "Only the land can give us back the roots that run through the centuries", says the family, highlighting how respect for the land is a fundamental factor in rediscovering the glorious past and expressing the purest essence of the territory. The ancient Garganega vines, which are between 70 and 140 years old, grow on this land. The estate has about 10 historic cru spread over 60 hectares on volcanic soils. The most important are Froscà, which is an ancient district that takes its name from the climate, that tends to be cold, or the Salvarenza district, which originates from the erosion of basaltic rocks where the vines are still planted. In recent years, a plot of land at an altitude of 600 metres has been added in the Valpolicella area, where international Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes are grown, emphasising the brothers' strong passion for Burgundy. Tradition and innovation are perfectly integrated in the vineyard and in the cellar, in all operations and stages of production. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and pied de cuve, while ageing takes place in steel or in barriques that are stored in the cellar dug out of volcanic tuff, in which there are also traces of black rock.

The wines of Gini are the age-old reflections of the Soave area, recalling the taste of ancient tradition, and combining this with the winery's great ability to offer a style that is both modern and innovative. In this way, pure, precise and elegant expressions are born, which are characterised by a pleasant mineral note (typical of the volcanic soil), saline highlights, and a dynamic and fresh texture.
