This Trento Brut is a vintage Metodo Classico that is extremely pleasant to drink and proves to be extremely versatile, from aperitifs to throughout the meal. The Chardonnay grapes from which it originates grow in plots characterised by a climate strongly influenced by temperature variations between day and night, a feature that makes each bunch full of refreshing and complex aromas, which are then found in the final sip. A sparkling wine to always have on hand, for any occasion.
Brut Trento Spumante is produced by the Altemasi winery using pure grapes from a great international white grape variety, Chardonnay. The vineyards where this variety grows are highly suited to its cultivation and are located in the Valle dei Laghi and around the hills of Trento, at an altitude of between 450 and 600 metres above sea level. Once harvested and brought to the winery, the grapes undergo a first fermentation, followed by a second fermentation in the bottle, according to the principles of the Metodo Classico production method. The wine then remains on the lees for a period of 36 months, after which it undergoes disgorging, dosage and bottling.
This Trento Brut Spumante develops in the glass with a straw yellow colour and light golden reflections at the rim. The perlage is fine, with excellent persistence. The aromas that greet the nose move towards crisp and pleasant notes, chasing floral and fruity sensations, as well as notes of pastry and yeast. On the palate, it is full-bodied, broad and enveloping, with a slender and dynamic mouthfeel, characterised by a beautiful savoury and fresh note. A fine and elegant bottle from Altemasi, perfect for starting an evening to remember.
